 Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Assalam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

The Quran Competition would like to thank all our brothers, sisters, youth and children who participated and attended the Seventh Annual Central Virginia Quran Competition testing and Awards Ceremony. Your support and enthusiasm goes a long way towards instilling, by the Grace of Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala), a love of the Quran in the hearts of our children and solidifying their Muslim identity. Events such as this encourage our children to feel a sense of pride in their deen, and we hope they will look back upon these formative experiences as having a very positive impact on their Islamic identity and connection with the Book of Allah.

Our deepest gratitude is to Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) who, through His infinite mercy, facilitated every step of the process and showered His abundant blessings upon it. After that, our heartfelt thanks go to all the wonderful volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event a success.

From the ones that diligently packed the goody bags for hours while patiently resisting the urge to eat the contents, to the team of brothers and sisters who helped with setup and stayed past the event to help with clean-up, From the dedicated sisters who cooked and worked tirelessly in the kitchen boxing and serving food and the sisters who spent hours wrapping the gifts, to the brothers and sisters who ran errands, picked things up, dropped things off and donated generously from their time, effort and resources, may Allah reward you all with the best of rewards in this world and the next.

And to those amongst our dear brothers and sisters who chose to take on the noble responsibility to donate financially towards this event (some of you consistently, year after year) – your contributions are the cornerstone and foundation of this event and, inshaAllah, a means of eternal reward and compensation. It is only through the support and contributions of generous people like you that this annual event is possible. May Allah, the Most Generous, repay your generosity with the choicest of His bounty in this world and the next. Jazakum Allahu khairan!

We are kindly requesting advice from the community regarding the event. Any naseeha you can share would be greatly appreciated. Please click here to provide us your valuable ideas.

May Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) shower His blessings upon all of

youand your families. Ameen.

Jazakum Allahu khairan,
