The Central Virginia Quran Competition strives to foster and nurture through its events, an appreciation, love and enthusiasm for the Holy Quran in the hearts and minds of the children and youth in the Central Virginia and surrounding communities.
It aims to promote literacy in the Quran and encourage its recitation and memorization, while providing beneficial events during the year through which the youth can increase their knowledge base of Islam and develop a stronger and more confident Muslim identity, with the ultimate goal of understanding and living the meaning of the Holy Quran.
